Lina Brand Correa wins Doctoral College Award

Lina Brand Correa placed 3rd in the Leeds Doctoral College Research Showcase. Each year this event celebrates exciting and innovative research at the university, and awards prizes to the top 3 researcher presentations.

Lina commented that: ‘The driving rationale of my PhD is to investigate the dependency of economies and societies on energy systems, in order to open the possibility space for decoupling the benefits that economies and societies get from energy systems from their environmental impacts (especially climate change).’

'Showcase' is the annual University of Leeds Doctoral College celebration of postgraduate research.
