Speaking Truth to Power - Films for a Finite World: Minimalism - A Documentary About the Important Things

The LILI Project's free  film series, ‘Speaking Truth to Power:  Films for a Finite World’, restarts next week with the film 'Minimalism: a Documentary About the Important Things'.

Co-hosted with SRI, the film will be shown at 4.30pm on Wednesday 21/06/2017 in Seminar room 1.15, Business School (Maurice Keyworth) and will be followed by a discussion. We should be finished around 6.15pm.

Directed by Matt D'Avella, the film asks us to consider  ‘How might your life be better with less? Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things examines the many flavors of minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from all walks of life -- families, entrepreneurs, architects, artists, journalists, scientists, and even a former Wall Street broker -- all of whom are striving to live a meaningful life with less.’
